keeps calling and does not say anything

Looking for someone (not me) and says they are a target of an investigation, that they need to call voluntary or they will be turned over to Logan County. (they try to make it sound serious)....I'm ignoring the call

Called me, confirmed my name and hung up right away. No clue what they wanted. People are weird aren't they.

This collection agency is a front operation primarily for the notorious Capital One. There is evidence that Cap1 may be parent company of ARS. For cardholders -- many of whom got fed up with: the jacked up interest rates even if payments received on time; soldiers deployed to Iraq believing Cap1 would make a record of their unavailability promising to retain their accounts "current"; indexed fees and made changes to consumers' agreements when clicking "I Accept" under the fine print terms of service required in order for cardholders to make online payments.

phone & no speaker, then dial tone!

Phone rang, I saw the caller ID, picked up the phone after the second ring, no one was there.

got a call from this number I will be contacting my attorney general tommorow since I am in law enforcement

Call came in from this number. It went to my answering machine. The caller hung up.

I called this # back and it tlls me a # then says my call can't go thru. It happens about once a month. Thank you.
